Vacancy Details

Leading SA bank is looking for a Senior Programme Adminastrator to provide administrative assistance to the Programme and Project Managers of large projects

12 Month Contract

  • Due to the Nature of the Programme the incumbent is expected to be flexible on working hours and may be required to work outside normal working hours
  • May be required to travel to the Head Office in JHB as needed.
    • Provide assistance to the programme and project managers of large programmes
  • Monitor project progress and provides programme administrative support   to enhance the project team’s delivery efficiency
    • Responsible for various administrative functions within a programme including:
      • Programme Reporting
      • Preparing presentations and reports for various programme committees such Steerco’s, Exco’s, project team meetings, etc
      • Scheduling of meetings
      • Meeting Minutes
      • Documenting and updating Risks, Actions, Decisions and Issues
      • Ensures all programme documentation is in place and updated accordingly
      • Updates and tracking of Programme Cost
      • Updates of the Programme Schedule
      • Assists Programme / Project Managers to monitor and track deliverables / milestones
      • Assists with onboarding of team members
      • Ensures Programme Governance Requirements are met and adhered to through-out the Programme Life Cycle
      • Update and Maintain the Programme on PMO Tools such as JIRA and Confluence
      • Setting up of workshops, etc.
    • Candidate Requirements
    • Proven experience in programme administration
      • Ability to apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience to analyse information within agreed parameters;
      • Be able to listen attentively, present information clearly and concisely and respond appropriately to the verbal and written communication of others;
      • Ability to select the most effective method of communication based on the content and purpose of the message;
    • Evaluates risk and identifies and mitigates problems in area of specialization.
    • Grade 12
    • Minimum of Two Years Programme Administration experience, preferrably in the financial Services Indusrty. A CAPM qualification would be highly beneficial
    • Clear Credit and Criminal Checks
